Starting today, I am executing the search for a general contractor for Stage 1. The crux of this project will pivot on the the development of a healthy relationship with an industry expert who can translate the project's research & development efforts into tangible results. The talents manifest in the role are the ability to both work within the constraints of a URA project budget while delivering LEED for Homes certification results. This will require a great bit of intuitive creativity (which is highly rewarded in LEED for Homes).
As the end of 02/16/2008 EST5EDT nears, I just wanted to note that I'm posting about 45 new Blog entries and associated Wiki entries. Flenniken is a Title firm, as well as a Dollar Bank subsidiary, conveniently recommended by Bonnie Booth for use with the URA HRP program. Scary legal maneuvers perhaps? A keen eye see DNS NS and MX records for Flennikencorp.com. Handled by Dollar Bank's Internet servers.
Iannucci Law Firm -- A closing agency recommend by Bryan Kaplan for use in Stage 1
I've been slowly itemizing a list of regional Neighborhood and Civic Associations (as well as "Community Development Groups") within the City of Pittsburgh that operate within Stage 11 Target Areas : South Side, Lawrenceville, Polish Hill, Hill District, Bloomfield, Garfield-Friendship, etc. However, I have recently decided to just list other lists, since there are infinitely more then I can list, which will eventually become stale.
Icynene is the blow-in insulation insulation solution recommended by Artemis Environmental Materials for in-place application. It has a 3.6 R-Rating for insulation. A strong candidate for insulating dual-layer brick exterior surfaces. It also claims to contribute to improved indoor air quality (materials, etc.) – they are a USGBC member. I believe they are also GreenSpec listed.
